Why Taparia is the Default for Indian Industry
Taparia has been manufacturing hand tools in Nashik since 1969 in a long-running technical collaboration originally tied to Bahco of Sweden. That heritage shows up in two ways that matter to a working tradesperson: BIS-compliant metric sizing that fits Indian fasteners precisely, and chrome-vanadium steel that holds an edge through years of site use. For MIDC factory toolkits, electrical contractor van stock, and general industrial procurement, Taparia is the default choice and has been for two generations.

How Taparia Pricing Actually Works
This is something we explain to almost every new buyer because Taparia's pricing structure isn't documented anywhere clearly online. There are three things to know.
Standard pack quantities: Most Taparia SKUs ship in fixed pack quantities — for example, screwdrivers in packs of 12, pliers in packs of 6, spanners in packs of 5 or 10 depending on size. Distributor pricing is built around these packs. You can buy below-pack quantities through us but the per-piece price is higher.
MRP vs distributor price: Taparia publishes an MRP, and authorised distributors work at a structured discount off MRP. Our wholesale pricing reflects this — it is generally well below the MRP printed on the packaging and well below what hardware shops charge over the counter.
GST rates: Standard Taparia hand tools attract 18% GST under their HSN code. A small group of items — oil cans, grease guns and a few specialty items — fall under different HSN codes at 5% GST. Our quotations apply the correct rate per line item so your Input Tax Credit is clean.

Why Taparia Beats Imported Brands for Indian Industrial Use
Imported hand tools — Snap-on, Beta, Wera — are excellent products but priced 4-10x above Taparia. For one bench in a precision lab they may be justified. For kitting out a 30-technician MIDC maintenance team, the maths doesn't work. Taparia delivers 85-90% of the durability and fit at a fraction of the cost, with parts and replacements always available locally. That's why almost every Pune industrial setup runs on Taparia.
